Gumby_mac, sadly for you (but happily for me :-) I already sold the original 1.8 weber-converted gas engine to someone local in Colorado. And, Roz, yes, I agree - see the movie "Who killed the electric car?" I researched various (non-) options for buying an all-electric vehicle before deciding to execute the conversion. I think there is a large untapped market for OEM electric-only vehicles but, for whatever reason, the OEMs are not generally targeting it at this time. Hopefully, with new battery technology, this will change over the next year or two.Ross Cunniffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06668735330276350432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874270431143024891.post-79113463781329213822008-01-22T15:49:00.000-07:002008-01-22T15:49:00.000-07:00honestly - why can't I have one of these? do I re...honestly - why can't I have one of these? do I really need to do all that engineering? is there a way to just buy the finished product? is there a more modern chassis that could be used for this?

is it just not economical to have a market for evs?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3874270431143024891.post-40218688234999971752008-01-22T14:52:00.000-07:002008-01-22T14:52:00.000-07:00Nice car!
